Center Colorfest Weekend Is Just Around The Corner!

Every day I keep adding new events to our calendar for Center Colorfest Weekend, there will be plenty to enjoy and experience. Due to the lasting effects of COVID-19 on area marching band preparations, unusual school schedules, and in general life disruptions, we will hold off one more year with the Canyon of Lights parade. However, the Center Colorfest Light Decoration Contest and Scavenger Hunt is back.

You can find all of the details to enter your home, business, or civic organization in the contest at the 2021 Center Colorfest Tab at the top of the home page. We will update that page with the Scavenger Hunt rules as we get closer.

Also this year we have a loaded slate of business offerings such as Oakwood Fruit Farm's Customer Appreciation Days and Wild Hills Winery's Fall Open House and others with special events and activities that weekend. The UW-Richland Alumni also got into the act with their Outstanding Alumni Recognition Brunch and the extremely popular area-wide rummage sales are being organized by the Shopping News. You can check their September 28th issue for all of the information regarding those locations. Finally, the annual Wheels of Time, Antique Truck and Tractor show returns to the Fairgrounds as well as the Danny Sheafor Memorial Tractor Ride.

The Richland Center Tourism Calendar of Events at the bottom of the home page will keep you updated as new events are added, don't forget to check that out regularly!

It will be a full weekend with something for everyone, we hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!
